My ‘why’ story
Think about it, what are some of your best and fondest memories and what are the common threads?
Maybe now its fun times with family and friends. Laughter, conversation, music, playing games, eating and drinking together. Maybe growing up it was the fun of being outdoors. Dens, tree houses, camping and camp fires. These are all delicious analogue moments.
I wanted to have more of all of those experiences. Brilliant, magical and fun outdoor living that mixed together fire, food, family and friends. Great moments that would in turn become wonderful memories.
This became my passion, to create an Outdoor Kitchen that gave me the brilliant outdoor living lifestyle I craved. Now I’ve done it, I want to share it, giving others the same heart beat my garden now has.
My making journey
I’m not a trained designer but have always loved to make. Making day 1 I had little idea how to start, but knew I needed to do something. I grabbed some pink card and sellotape from my son’s school bag and made some kind of oven shape. Definitely not much to show for day 1, but it was a start.
Over the next 5 years I researched, tried, failed (lots !) learned and tried again. But with each go I knew I was gradually inching towards creating what I wanted, an Outdoor Kitchen that perfects aesthetics, engineering and quality.
Lusarcha has come a long way from those humble beginnings. We are now craftsmen, creating with passion, care and attention to detail.

Right for our communities
We believe in social responsibility and supporting the communities in which we live. With our core product being linked to food, we feel it natural that we provide support in this area. We pledge 2% of Lusarcha’s gross profits to go directly to the Worcester Food Bank. Although we are only a small business, this action will still make a difference to those most in need.
Right for our plant
It’s a guiding principle in everything we do and central to how we safeguard our planet. Unlike products that need to be replaced and have overseas provenance, our Outdoor Kitchen is made entirely in Worcestershire in the UK and built to last a lifetime.
Our core materials are stainless steel and oak. 75% of stainless steel being recycled metals and our oak is sourced sustainably. We don’t add wasteful products into the process. Our Outdoor Kitchens are delivered by us protected on their journey through re-usable crates and fabric coverings.
We recognise a residual carbon footprint will be created. For each Outdoor Kitchen we plant XX trees which offsets all impacts, including making, installation travel and your ongoing use.
